10 pm on 9/17/2019, just as we got home from prayer meeting, the following exchange took place:

Me: Daniella do you really want us to have a bath? It’s cold.

Daniella : yes Mummy, we must bathe to be clean.

Me: can we use the wash/bath cloth? We have enough to last for a long time.

Daniella: Mummy, let’s bathe together pleaseeee.

Me: Mummy is tired and I don’t want to bathe. I want to use wash cloth, I didn’t fall into poops.

Daniella : don’t say that mummy, that’s disgusting. . I will tell your husband that you don’t bathe at night.

Me: has God told you who I will marry?

Daniella : nooooooo but I will find him and tell him.

Daniella : don’t beg me, come here (pulling me to the bathroom)

As we showered:
Daniella: Mummy, you said I used to live inside your stomach?

Me: yes and you made me eat a lot of Chinese food and peppery vegetable soup.

Daniella : you’re something else. You’re so funny. Please scrub my back.

Me: I love you OK?

Daniella : I love you too, everyday everyday.

Me: you’re a great child, a warrior and a child of God.

Daniella: OK Mummy. Can I get one banana for school?

Me: I am speaking into your life so cut off the banana talk.

Daniella : OK be fast and put banana in my bag. Give me towel mummy, I am done. You like to pray for me everyday everyday. Why?

Me: take your towel, you get the banana and a pack of cookies. Let’s go get dressed.

She went to bed shortly after and phewwwwww!!!!
