While waiting for the school bus to pull up the following conversation ensued.
ME: Daniella, do you have anything to say to me?
Daniella: Yes, I love you. I will miss you.
Me: Awwwwww!! I love you too and will miss you. But I have alot of writing to do. Thank God we woke up just on time, if not we would have missed your bus.
Daniella: Heyyyyyy!!!! Back to sender!! God forbid!!! If I miss the bus my teacher will miss me in class. Please write about me too.
Me: Why will she miss you? You’re not the only child in class.
Daniella: Oh mummy, she will miss me. I am a great student.
(The bus pulls up and she left her bag with me and hops on the bus. The conductor grabbed the bag and off they went.)
Lesson in this:
Her confidence level is high and not just because of this discussion but generally. She’s so sure she’s already of value to a class she’s just spent two days in to the point that she will be missed. I kind of like that.
Now the back to sender God forbid part, y’all know where she got that from? She’s my prayer partner too so we do go after those demons together. You need to hear her speak in tongues, if not speaking in tongues, what do I call what she says when she suddenly stands up running round the room praying?
God, thank you for this child!! Thank you!!

I love her confidence level too. When you understand that you’re a value to an environment where you belong, you take your own self even more seriously.
Danny is a blessing.
Danny I love your confidence level.
Lord Jesus, thank you for Daniella and the confidence you gave her!
